Dr. Steinbiss is the administrative coordinator of the currently largest FP7 ICT project in human language technologies, EU-BRIDGE (budget €10.5m), and has been managing large and complex international projects in both science and industry. He has ample experience in publicly funded RTD projects, both at RWTH Aachen University (EU projects PF-STAR, TC-STAR, JUMAS, LUNA, and French Quaero program) and in previous functions at Philips Research (SPICOS, Verbundprojekt Sprachverstehende Systeme, ASL Architektur von Speech-Language-Systemen, SmartKom, and EU projects POLYGLOT and ARISE).
