Our first project, EU-BRIDGE, started in February 2012. Being an IP (integrated project) and with a budget of €10.5m, it is, at this point in time, the largest FP7 project in human language technologies (HLT). Its objectives are to advance speech recognition and machine translation technology and to set up a speech translation service infrastructure. Accipio Projects supports the coordinator KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Prof. Alex Waibel) and the project partners in many ways:
- Project management
- Finances
- Communication with the Commission
- Tracking of the deliverables and the periodic reports
- Internal communication infrastructure (in particular the intranet)
- Immediate support of the project partners
We passed the project review for the first period (end of April 2013 in Luxembourg) with a note “excellent”.
